Purchased in 2008 by entrepreneurs and best-buddies Gabriel Waldman and Dani Zoldan, Stand Up NY is no longer just a dimly-lit comedy club, it's also a great event space. Boasting a sleek and modern design (the brainchild of famed nightclub impresario Steve Lewis and Marc Dizon – the guys behind Marquee, Butter and Hudson Terrace) and fired-up versions of everyone's favorite bar snacks, Stand Up NY has distinguished themselves from their competitors. With a showroom that accommodates over 125 guests, you'll have room to burst into hysterics without knocking over your neighbor's scotch.
