Since 2006, the STAND Foundation has been helping youth at risk from the Greater Vancouver area access education and skills training so that they improve their economic situation, break the cycle of poverty, and make a better life for themselves. STAND has a partnership with the Vancouver School Board and specifically with their Alternative School Programs to help youth who are experiencing economic and personal challenges get an education or acquire a new skill.
