Stairway Partners was formed to provide our clients (starting with ourselves) with an effective and comprehensive solution for managing assets. Our disciplined and rigorous investment approach comes from our collective knowledge and experience in serving large institutional clients over many years. The dominant amount of risk and return comes not from your choice of individual investments but from your asset class mix. We focus our resources on risk management and asset allocation to best ensure that we meet each client's financial objectives on a customized basis. Stairway Partners was founded in May 2004 by senior investment colleagues from Brinson Partners. Brinson Partners was a pioneering firm in the areas of global investing and asset allocation. Our investment team and investment advisory committee members have extensive institutional experience. Our vision is to provide individual investors with a low cost comprehensive institutional investment capability that focuses on global asset allocation and risk management.
