StageScreen Information

StageScreen is a Saturday morning, term-time drama and musical theatre school for young people aged 4 to 18. We have been promoting kindness through the performing arts since 2016. In September 2021 we moved our classes to William Allitt Performing Arts Centre, in Newhall, where the purpose-built facilities open up new opportunities for our students. At the end of each term we stage a production such as a play or musical, film festival or showcase, which demonstrate what students have learned that term. Our aim is to create well-rounded, happy, confident young people. Our teachers - who all have professional industry experience - will help students to develop social skills that will enrich their lives whether or not they choose a career in the performing arts. Students are enrolled in one of the following groups depending on their age: Debut (for 6-9-year-olds) Spotlight (for 10-13-year-olds) Encore (for 14-18-year-olds) Saturday morning sessions last for three hours in total. Each age group spends an hour each on comedy and drama acting; film and musical theatre.
