St. Vincent Hospital Foundation Information

Established in 1980 and governed by its own independent Board of Directors, the mission of St. Vincent Hospital Foundation is to support CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center as it provides excellent, compassionate health care to the patients and families it serves, regardless of ability to pay. St. Vincent Hospital Foundation solicits contributions from individuals, businesses, corporations, foundations, and government sources to meet the hospital’s funding needs for capital projects, major equipment, patient and community programs, education, and other projects. Several programs were created by St. Vincent Hospital Foundation, are not part of the hospital’s operating budget, and are totally dependent on the fundraising activities of the Foundation. Included in these are the Healthcare Exploration Program for high school students, the Cancer Care Assistance Program, the Pharmacy/Special Needs Assistance Fund, the Nursing Education Fund, and others. CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center has served the people of northern New Mexico since 1865, making it the oldest healthcare facility in the state. CSV is more than a community hospital; it is the medical center for the northern half of New Mexico, serving over half a million people in twelve counties between Albuquerque and Pueblo, Colorado.
