Company Overview: The specific purpose of this corporation is to produce civic, cultural and educational events, which support and encourage pride within San Diego's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities. Our mission: Fostering pride in and respect for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities, locally and globally. Our Vision: A world free of prejudice and bias Our Values: Diversity- being inclusive, accepting and respectful of the differences of people who share our values. Respect- valuing others by accepting individuality and demonstrating courtesy and mutual regard. Honesty and Integrity- communicating factual information and being true to our values. Accountability- to be responsible for the effects and consequences of our words and action.

Christopher Street West’s mission is to create safe and inclusive spaces for self-expression, to inspire an authentic sense of activism in the continued fight for equality, and to celebrate the unique heritage and diverse cultures of Los Angeles’ LGBTQ+ community and its allies. Christopher Street West (CSW), a 501(c)3 non-profit, organized the world’s first permitted parade advocating for gay rights on June 28, 1970 as a response to and in commemoration of the Stonewall Rebellion on Christopher Street in New York City the year prior. Since then, we have built a rich history as the oldest and largest Pride Parade and Festival in Southern California. We also organize a number of events throughout the year with our non-profit, philanthropic, community, and corporate partners.
