Often referred to as ‘The Grammar Way’, Auckland Grammar School sets its standards very high, demanding excellence across all aspects of daily life. While providing young men with a rigorous academic education, each young man in turn is expected to pursue excellence in acquiring knowledge and skills while embracing the School’s values. These values are core to upholding the School’s position of pre-eminence in boys’ secondary education. They are integrity, excellence, respect, courage, pride, commitment and humility. Through teaching and practising these values, we hope to develop in our students valuable personal qualities such as self-discipline, resourcefulness, adaptability, creativity, honesty, courtesy, self-reliance, healthy self-esteem, pride in personal appearance and public spirit, with the aim of using these virtues for the good of the School and the community.

Welcome to King's College! When Graham Bruce founded King's College in 1896, his stated aim was that the school would provide 'the best all-round education it is possible to obtain'. Over 100 years on, this statement still both guides and underpins all that we do. King's College aims to be the best it can be in every one of the College's programmes: academic, sporting, cultural, spiritual and social. We appreciate this is a lofty ambition, but it is one which has seen King's, throughout its history, preserve its enduring values whilst still being prepared to innovate, to ensure we remain at the forefront of education.

St Peter’s School in Cambridge has a proud reputation for providing a holistic education, producing independent, confident and resilient students who love learning, pursue excellence and serve their community. This makes St Peter’s a special place. We are an independent (private) school. With a roll of approximately 1,100 students from Year 7 to 13, we are big enough to be competitive against other schools. However, we remain a close-knit community with a focus on individual pathways for students. We offer both IB and NCEA. The largest co-ed boarding school in New Zealand, our campus is home to approximately 450 students. We work and learn in world-class facilities, but we’re situated in a uniquely rural environment.
