SSDA Architects Information

Sudhir Saumya Design Associates (SSDA) is a dynamic architecture and interior design studio redefining luxury residential design since 2021. Based in Ghitorni, New Delhi, the firm specializes in large-scale farmhouses and bespoke residences (10,000–40,000 sq. ft.) across Delhi NCR. Founded by Ar. Sudhir Ambawata and Ar. Saumya Khanna, whose creative partnership began in 2012, SSDA blends fresh creative energy with technical depth. Born in a post-pandemic era, the studio’s vision is rooted in making home-building a joyful, transparent, and personal journey. SSDA believes that good design should breathe and belong. Their architecture is grounded in nature, responding to light, wind, and context. Each project embraces emotional resonance and contextual relevance—balancing beauty, function, and individuality. The studio offers end-to-end design services, including architectural planning, interior design, and Design + Build solutions. Their PMC-inspired model ensures seamless execution from concept to completion, with an emphasis on Vastu principles harmonized with contemporary aesthetics. SSDA thrives on a collaborative, inclusive culture, encouraging dialogue and creativity at every level. Their portfolio reflects a consistent design language—open, intuitive, and emotionally grounded—often featuring lush indoor-outdoor connections and soulful material palettes. Their work includes acclaimed projects such as the Delhi residence of designer Mayyur Girotra (featured in Architectural Digest) and Gulbagh Farmhouse, as seen in Made in Heaven, echoing their flair for refined storytelling through space. With a strong digital presence and growing influence, SSDA continues to shape homes that reflect not just design excellence, but the aspirations of the people who live in them.
