Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited (SIFL) entered the segment of infrastructure financing in 1989 as a construction equipment financier. Earlier the Company was classified as an Infrastructure Finance Company (NBFC-IFC), currently the Company has been re-designated as an NBFC-ICC. On September 26, 2011 the Company was notified as a Public Financial Institution (PFI) by the MCA. For over 30 years, SIFL had successfully offered solutions to its customers in Asset Finance & Leasing in the infrastructure sector making it one of the most significant players in its segment. Upon successful implementation of the Resolution Plan of National Asset Reconstruction Company Limited (NARCL) by the Hon’ble NCLT vide its order dated August 11, 2023, the Board of the Company has been re-constituted. Since its inception, the Company has traversed a long and eventful journey to emerge as an Infrastructure Service provider with a widespread presence Pan-India, strong Customer Base and unique Product Propositions. In April 2024, the Board of the Company appointed Mr. Hardayal Prasad as its Managing Director & CEO. Under Mr. Prasad’s leadership, the Company has resumed its lending business in the construction and mining equipment financing industry to effectively fulfil the customer needs of the segment. The Company takes pride in empowering the growth and development of Indian infrastructure.
