Srebrenica Memorial Center Information

The Memorial Center is a place of remembrance for the victims of the 1995 Srebrenica genocide and is dedicated to preserving history and confronting the forces of ignorance and hatred that lead to genocide. We continually collaborate with partner organizations in the country, region, and the world. We pay special attention to ongoing research activities, particularly in the collection of personal items belonging to the genocide victims, oral history and personal testimonies, analyses of relevant judgments, and criminal prosecution of those responsible for genocide and crimes against humanity. Memorial Center works to combat genocide denial, publishes publications, video content, and continuously develops graphics, displays, and reviews to inform the public and raise awareness about genocide through its website, social media, and partner media.
