Founded on November 5, 1963, Student Rugby Club Thor has been a home for student rugby in Delft for decades. Originally part of Virgiel, Thor became an independent club on April 4, 1975, embracing players from all backgrounds. In 1982, the first female members joined, and by 1985, Thor played its first league match. More than just a team, Thor is a community. Since 1995, our club has been based on a historic ship, a tradition we celebrate each year in honor of dhr. Van der Velde, who made it possible. At Thor, we welcome all students looking for a great rugby experience, both on and off the field!
