Welcome to my blog and thank you for visiting. I hope you have found some interesting things in my pages. Your comments and insight are always welcome so please feel free to chime in! I really dont want to go on too much about myself because you already put up with a lot of my life in the blog posts! Having said that, I know I like reading the about page on other blogs because I find it interesting to know where they are, where theyve been and where theyre going. So, I will tell you a little about me. I am a Brit, a Londoner, actually, with Indian ancestry. I miss London terribly, and think about moving back almost everyday. In the meantime, I have wonderful memories of my home town. I now live in beautiful Broomfield in Colorado with my husband, three daughters and a son. The magnificent state of Colorado takes your breath away . The majestic Rockies, the parks, lakes and the people are all amazing. I moved back to Colorado from Houston, Texas, a few years back and I am having a blast. We have national and state parks to explore and mountains to climb. We have farms and farmers markets to browse. The weather is beautiful pretty much all the time. Living in Colorado we have the advantage of eating healthy and having an outdoorsy life. My recipes are all made from scratch and use the best ingredients around when possible. They are all made using organic or natural products. Besides writing this blog, I am a product/cooking demonstrator at a local high-end appliance company. I demo the cooking appliances (Thermador, Dacor, Wolf, Viking etc) and cook up a storm and the clients sample all the goodies. I also am a personal chef, a caterer and a cooking instructor. I also have an obsession with coffee. All coffee: from Turkish to Cappuccino and everything in between. I am a big supporter of organic, Fair Trade certified, small farm coffee growers. I like to support farmers markets and farms as much as I can and buy local whenever possible. I believe we can help our planet in little ways and leave it somewhat intact ...
