Bard College at Simon's Rock is the nation's preeminent residential, liberal-arts early college. It enrolls approximately 450 students, nearly all of whom come to Simon's Rock after their sophomore or junior year in high school. It was founded as Simon's Rock College in 1966 by Elizabeth Blodgett Hall and, after becoming part of the Bard College system in 1979, it was known for most of its history as Simon's Rock College of Bard.
East Longmeadow is a city in Hampden County, Massachusetts, situated in the Pioneer Valley region of Western Massachusetts. It has a population of 15,720 at the 2010 census. East Longmeadow is 5 miles southeast of downtown Springfield, 25 miles north of Hartford, 88 miles southwest of Boston, and 142 miles north of New York City.
