Springetts Arcade Information

The community's generous donations to Springetts Arcade Magic Fountain' have helped raise $1,000 for Salvo's Red Shield Appeal. Springetts Arcade pledged to donate all proceeds from the Magic Fountain' during the month of June to help out Salvo's who had fallen short of their target during the Salvo's Door Knock Appeal. Tony Springett, general manager of Springetts Arcade, had offered to match whatever the community donated. The Southern Highlands Barber Shop Chorus, who recently performed live in Springetts Arcade during the Market Time' end of June sales, also donated half their earnings to the Salvation Army. The Barber Shop Chorus are dedicated supporters of Salvo's and were pleased to offer their services to help raise money for the Red Shield Appeal. Tony Springett presented Captain Grant Andrews with a cheque for $1,000. "Both management and tenants of Springetts Arcade are always happy to help such a worthy cause" he said. Captain Grant Andrews was delighted by the community and Springetts Arcade donations. Captain Grant explains that the money will go towards developing rehabilitation programmes for those in need of assistance. Tony Springett explained that Springetts Arcade will help Salvation Army out again at Christmas time with the annual Giving Tree which is a firm favourite with the community and has been running for 10 years now.
