Springbok’s founder, Marshall Borchert, is a graduate electrical engineer with 40 years experience designing test equipment. His experience comes from working with a state of the art test equipment company on the West Coast and developing a hand-held digital cable fault locator, which became the first of many products developed and marketed by his company, Riser-Bond Instruments. After becoming aware of the low voltage AC power distribution cable arcing problem, he was instrumental in the development of the Model 829 Power Fault Analyzer and Springbok Instruments.
