Spring Lotus Competitors

Lotus Foods is a California-based company that imports handcrafted rice from small family farms to the United States. The Lotus Foods love story began when co-founders Caryl Levine & Ken Lee tasted an amazing black rice called “tribute rice”, or “longevity rice” because it was reserved for Chinese Emperors to ensure their good health and long life. That story then became the Lotus Foods story. Since 1995, Lotus Foods has built strong partnerships around the world to bring you the highest quality gluten-free heirloom, organic rice, rice noodles and rice ramen. All while promoting organic agriculture, rice biodiversity and supporting producers. As a certified B Corp, the company’s intent and vision is not only to help rice farmers earn a living wage but to bring healthier rice choices to consumers. To this end, Lotus Foods’ commitment to organic and regenerative practices is generating more rice from less land, preserving biodiversity, saving millions of gallons of water annually, promoting soil health, and removing greenhouse gasses from the atmosphere. Lotus Foods’ traditional Brown and White Basmati Rice is the first rice in the world to achieve Regenerative Organic Certified®. This rigorous new standard goes beyond existing Organic and Fair Trade certifications in promoting farming that enriches rather than degrades soil and values animals and workers.

From the very start, Blooming Lotus has created worry-free bath and body products – organic skin care designed with the health of humans, animals, and the planet in mind. When so many companies are rushing to repackage, relabel or reformulate to meet customer demand for natural beauty products, it kind of makes us wonder about their motivation. We’re proud to say we’ve been organic and paraben free since the beginning.
