QR-Code Expansion A traditional QR-Code is a trigger technology, where you scan a QR-code and it handles one engagement. The trigger then either sends the user to a location (specified web domain, video link, etc.) or it passes information to the user (email address, contact information, calendar event, etc.). In either case, the engagement is limited, one-dimensional and locked-down. With Spout, we have expanded the functionality of the QR-Code to provide multi-select options and serve as a gateway to a wide array of backend services and functionality.
