Spotz Information

Oriane Junker, mother of two boys, founded Spotz in 2018 after suffering discrimination at work after giving birth and due to feeling incensed that she was paid $30k less than her husband for the same role in the same company. On the surface, Spotz is a mum-to-mum marketplace, empowering mums to earn money on their own terms by selling their products or services to each other. On a deeper level, Spotz is much more than an online retail store. It’s a platform allowing mums to create a community, support each other and empower one another with the potential to fulfil their own destiny on their own terms. The overarching mission of Spotz is to influence policy makers and make Australian society more mum friendly. Oriane has plans to extend Spotz beyond the retail marketplace, as a platform where female business owners can find mentors and do courses to reach their full potential.
