Since 1983, Spotlight Network has served as a training foundation for the students of Howard University majoring in broadcast journalism, TV production, audio production, and film. Functioning under WHUT, the first and only African American owned and operated Public television station in the United States, Spotlight Network Television has been a large force on the campus of Howard University. We currently cover chapel services, volleyball, basketball, football, soccer games, and numerous other campus events throughout the school year.
