Welcome to Sports Eleven 05, a New York-based company dedicated to celebrating and bringing awareness to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Our mission is to showcase the rich athletic heritage, academic excellence, and cultural significance of these institutions through various initiatives, including the highly anticipated HBCU Football Classic. Established in 2022, Sports Eleven 05 was born out of a passion for HBCUs and a desire to highlight their outstanding contributions to the world of sports. We firmly believe that HBCUs have played an integral role in shaping the landscape of collegiate athletics, producing exceptional athletes, and fostering a sense of community and pride among their students, alumni, and supporters. At the heart of our efforts is the HBCU Football Classic, an annual event that brings together HBCU football teams, fans, and supporters from across the nation. The inaugural game took place in September 2022 at the iconic MetLife Stadium, and it was an electrifying celebration of talent, tradition, and unity. The Classic not only showcases the exceptional skills of HBCU football players but also serves as a platform to raise awareness about the unique educational opportunities provided by HBCUs.
