SPORTING HERITAGE CIC is the network support organisation for those working with, sporting collections in the UK. We Deliver: National Sporting Heritage Day on the 30th September every year An annual national conference A regular training programme Consultancy support for fund-raising, collections management, scoping collections, audience development and education, museum strategy and set up, evaluation and research Nation's networks Major sporting heritage projects We are a membership organisation and aim to increase access to support, knowledge and awareness of the role and value of sporting heritage, how it engages across a range of agendas such as education, health and wellbeing, and sports participation, and ensure that collections are better protected, understood, shared, and celebrated.
