Victory Sports has acquired the local telecast rights for Minnesota Twins Baseball, beginning in 2004. In an agreement with ESPN Syndication, Victory Sports has obtained the rights to University of Minnesota Men,s Basketball games, University of Minnesota Football games, ESPNEWS, additional Big Ten Conference Men,s Basketball and Football games and other collegiate men,s basketball and football games. Victory Sports will also telecast St. Cloud State and Minnesota State - Mankato hockey and football games. Victory,s newest initiative is a high school basketball and hockey game of the week beginning with the 2003 - 2004 academic year. An affiliate of the Minnesota Twins Baseball Club, Victory Sports is the Upper Midwest,s newest regional sports network with programming efforts focused on local sports across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and the Dakotas. Victory will launch its 24 hour network on October 31, 2003.
