We could not be a successful and effective association without the support and active participation of our supplier community. Year after year, these corporations and individuals commit their time, energy and money to support our industry and our goals. Here in Vancouver we SOLD OUT our exhibitor trade show area, we received record sponsorship commitments...and we have increased our association's supplier memberships. We thank each of them for their continued support! I also want to thank each and every volunteer, who takes the time to be active in their provincial or national association. At CPMA, we have been fortunate to have had very strong support over the years, and this past year was no exception. In particular, I want to thank Dominique Stumpf (of NPMA) who works tirelessly behind-the-scenes every day of the year to keep us on track and moving ahead seamlessly. In addition, our three appointed members serve the association through their own personal commitment and investment. Karen Furgiuele-Percy, Randy Hobbs and Sharon Izzo graciously offered to stay on for my first year as President, so I would like to thank them for their support over the past THREE years. In addition, I would like to welcome our three new appointed members; Darcy Olds (Supplier rep), Pierre St. Louis (Business Development) and Karen Furgiuele-Percy (Government Affairs)...and our new "President-Elect", Steven Graff of Abell Pest Control. Sadly, we lost a member of our professional family recently, with the sudden passing of Don Cook, owner of Hawkeye Pest Control in Alberta. Don was a past President of APMA and was an active member of our association for a number of years. Our sincerest condolences go out to Don's family, and we will be sure they know that Don was loved and will be fondly remembered by his "pest control" family from across Canada!
