Splurge Bakery Information

Our family LOVES desserts. When we moved from Houston to New York City, our search continued and quickly expanded to include personalized desserts. After the birth of our daughter, Raquel, we wanted to serve unique and customized cookies at her baby naming party. However, we quickly learned that even in the largest city in America there were few options for delicious, personalized desserts. Then we had our lightbulb moment We combined our love of homemade, delicious desserts and our desire to offer customizable, unique baked goods and stablished Splurge Bakery in 2006. Our very first product was our logo cookie, a simple yet delectable shortbread cookie we created in-house, iced with any image of our customers’ choosing. From there on, we grew! Fast-forward to 2010 when we opened our own retail store in Millburn, NJ and expanded our production to include custom cakes, grab-and-go desserts, and we even started to host birthday parties right in our new production space. We take pride in the fact that all our products are baked to order, handmade with the finest ingredients including Valrhona Cocoa and Belgian chocolate. As we continue to grow, we remain laser-focused on customer service - many of our customers are like family to us. Despite the challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we are thankfully still going strong and thriving. We introduced expanded delivery and shipping options, instituted curb-side pick-ups and re-launched a new and improved online shopping cart.
