SplitStay was founded in January 2021 based on an observation from our founder: Is it necessary to spend hundreds of dollars to go on an adventure? Why can't there be an easy way to go on a relaxing trip at a quality hotel without having to overspend? The founding team at LULULALA crossed paths at the University of Southern California where they saw their team visualize a future where travel doesn't necessary mean having to go somewhere far and extravagant. Later that year, the founders came together to build LULULALA as they've always dreamed of. LULULALA is starting to build partnerships with hotels that are willing to change and challenge the status quo of the hotel industry and the old-school paradigm of travel.
