Split Finland Ltd (formerly Ajelo Ltd) is a software company for smarter shared rides. Split has the first fully automatic solution to dispatch shared rides on the fly. The technology dynamically combines rides heading in the same direction into one vehicle, making it the most efficient and ecological real-time on-demand shared-ride solution available. First service based on Split technology, HSL Kutsuplus transport service available at Helsinki metropolitan area, was launched in 2012. In May 2015 Split service has been launched in Washington, DC in retail market.
