Splinter Workshop is a cooperative of designer makers located in Sydney's Inner West. We specialise in handcrafted fine furniture, custom made to your requirements. Our group was founded in 1996 by three graduates of the Sturt School for Wood in Mittagong and their passion for design and craftsmanship has been carried through to the present by a succession of committed members. We work primarily with wood and traditional joinery to create hand made contemporary and classical designs. Our client base is comprised of private individuals, architects and interior designers. Commissions vary in scale and may be residential, commercial, corporate or cultural with each project delivering a specific design response.
