Spica Technology is an international development and production company dedicated to the wind power industry. We have been in the wind power business since 1997, and for over 28 years, we have developed, produced and installed innovative software, electronics and electrical equipment in new and existing wind turbines – both onshore and offshore. Our great experience and know-how within the field of wind turbine control systems have given us a unique position as a manufacturer of customised solutions for wind power OEMs, service companies and consultant/engineering companies on a worldwide scale. The in-house experience from specialists at Spica Technology working with state-of-the-art turbine control system technology has paved way for a range of our own turbine retrofit products where the most significant is the Spica Retrofit Controller. Whether in the custom turbine control systems, we design, or through our retrofit products, we work for advancing wind performance for our customers and the industry as a whole.
