Sphinx tours is a solid company with fixed assets of over forty five million US Dollars and an annual turnover of over fifteen million US Dollars. The company maintains its own fleet of air-conditioned Mercedes and Scania motor coaches, minibuses and limousines. We own and operate 3 nile cruise ships. The M/S Citadelle (Inaugurated in October 1997) 5 stars deluxe cruise and M/S Love Boat (to be inaugurated in February 1999) 5 stars deluxe and M/S Rev vacancies 4 stars. We were the first Egyptian land operator to open a branch office in the United States of America in 1972 in New York city, and in Canada, in 1975 in Montreal. The purpose of this office is to market and assist tour operators in their registration. We handle over 150,000 tourists a year from several major agents in Europe, North America, and the Far East through charter, tour series, incentive, one shot, religious and spiritual groups and individuals. Also, we are experts in incentive tourism. Our experience and operation includes 22 years the Cairo International Film Festival, 14 years the Alexandria International Film Festival, 7 years the Cairo Book Fair, 5 years the International Experimental Theater Festival, 8 years the International Folkloric Arts Festival of Ismailia, the Egyptian Festival in the USA and Canada, and the Africatn Journalist Union Conference in Cairo in 1998. Currently Under Construction are our own hotels and resorts beach in the Egyptian Riveira (between Taba and Nueiwba) and in Hurghada.
