Spheriens has been established by a group of attorneys long specialized in the field of intellectual property. With offices in Florence, Milan and Rome, and a liaison office in New York, Spheriens provides judicial and extra-judicial assistance in Italy and the European Community and legal advice to Italian and foreign clients, including some of the world’s most prestigious companies in the fields of luxury goods, fashion, entertainment, information technology and pharmaceuticals. The firm is a member of INTA (International Trademark Association) and A.I.P.P.I. (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Industrielle). Spheriens works in the fields of intellectual and industrial property and unfair competition. We handle all matters relating to trademarks and distinctive signs, domain names, denominations of origin, geographical indications, patents, designs and models, copyright and antitrust law. In particular, Spheriens provides extra-judicial and judicial assistance, in both civil and criminal cases, as well as the drafting of agreements regarding intellectual property rights. We handle all aspects of anti-counterfeiting, including liaising with the Police and Customs authorities, the coordination of experts and investigators, the drafting of briefs during preliminary investigations and the filing briefs of intervention as aggrieved parties in criminal proceedings.
