About 35 miles into the 52 mile race , Karen Timewell attacked and Andrea and I both went to cover it.After a slight hesitation and the wise words of team captain Julie Young , Andrea hopped on Erin Carter'ss wheel and then attacked again.This created the winning break of Elizabeth Emery-Schwab , Erin Carter-Elita , Julie Hanson-Saturn , Odessa Gunn-Timex , Karen Timewell , Andrea and I. With 2 of us from AutoTrader.com team , I recieved the idea to work this puppy and so we dangled 15-20 secounds ahead of the gruppetto.I thought for sure we would get caught on the climb but much to my amazement after Andrea and I traded off attacks we summited with Andrea going for the QOM clear by about 20 sec followed by Julie Hansen towing me and the others had fallen off.Andrea lit_up the slick descent and motored on.Julie Hansen fought_back hard bringing me up for a counter attack and I ended_up soloing home for the big V.Andrea took secound and as a bonus we moved_up in G.C.
