Spectrum Generations, the Central Maine Area Agency on Aging, was founded in 1972. We actively enrich the lives of families through programs and services that encourage generations of adults to age in a comfortable way that is right for them. Spectrum Generations offers a variety of assistance and services, life-long learning, socialization, various activities and trips, and answers to help cut through all the red-tape. We operate 7 community centers as well as home-based programs. Our Mission is to promote and advance the well-being and independence of older and disabled adults, with the support of their care partners, to live in their community of choice.
