We are an industrial deep-tech company which develops optical engines and advanced materials. Our HDK (Hardware Development Kit) for imaging systems functions as a technological infrastructure designed to support advanced displays, interfaces, cameras, sensors, medical devices, and more. Imaging technology is about creating better images from the light and waves around us. In order to do that, imaging systems rely on the ability to propagate and modulate waves, and therefore they can only perform within the capacity of the optics they run on. Our mission focuses on eliminating tradeoffs derived from physical bottlenecks in the optical stacks, such as aperture size, resolution and environmental effects. By doing so, we aim to enable the evolution of imaging technology to the next level. At Spectralics we use metamaterials and nanotechnology to create a new breed of smart dynamic optics based on switchable elements controlled by software and voltage. With our technology, OEMs and system makers can discard traditional engineering constraints, redefine the design paradigms of future imaging systems, and close the gap between technological visions and engineering reality.
