Special Care Unit is the leader in caring for ventilator-dependent patients. For hospitals, patients, and their families, liberation from a ventilator is the most important step toward recovery. 
 We take an uncommon approach, with a multi-disciplinary team delivering therapy several times a day. By centralizing all ventilator-dependent patients in one unit, rather than spread throughout the hospital, our team is located side-by-side with patients, increasing both access and rehabilitation frequency.
 Our results are equally uncommon, with the highest vent-weaning rates in the industry, fewer days in the hospital, and significantly lower readmission rates compared to traditional ICUs.
