SPD Scuola Politecnica di Design Information

Founded in 1954, SPD is the first Italian school, conceived as a bridge to the creative professions. The education is focussed on advanced training programmes and University Master courses offered from seven different departments: Event and Exhibition Design, Product Design, Interior Design, Transportation and Car Design, Communication Design, Designing Digital Culture, Food Design and Innovation. SPD's educational offerings expand further with three new bachelor's programs in Design, Automotive and Transport Design, and Communication, Culture, and Business. The teaching approach promotes the active participation of primary institutions and businesses as didactic partners. For 70 years SPD has been playing a central role in spreading the culture of design all over the world. Its activity has been recognized at international level with many awards such as the prestigious Compasso d’Oro.
