SPARK NS is an independent nonprofit translational research organization dedicated to more effectively advancing promising academic discoveries in Parkinson’s disease, autism, and adjacent conditions from the lab to the clinic. The SPARK NS Translational Research Program provides selected projects with up to $2,000,000 in milestone-based funding, advice from 100+ industry expert advisors, in-person and online education in translational research and drug development, participation in a collaborative community, and post-program support. The SPARK NS program uses an unconventional model of translational research developed and refined since 2006. Academic principal investigators with projects at any stage of development between target identification and entry into clinical trials are eligible to apply.
