Holcim UK Ltd. Civils and Infrastructure Formerly Spadeoak, since 1976 we have grown and evolved to become one of the leading multi-solution surfacing contractors in the country. We offer a wide spectrum of services; all delivered to the rigorously high standards that have earned us such a prestigious reputation. We administer contracts in the public and private sectors in main and sub-contracting roles. In addition to conventional “black-top” work we also provide artificial sports areas and civil construction packages of outstanding quality. Sports specialists, Spadeoak can deliver the full range of sports pitch installation, from athletic tracks and tennis courts to hockey pitches and Multi-Use Games Areas (MUGA’s) including Type 1 and Type 2 macadam, Type 3 and Type 4 polymeric as well as Type 5 synthetic turf. Our experienced sports team offer a full in-house design and build service using the latest technology to provide the best surface solution for our clients. We provide high-quality facilities that meet FIFA, FA, FIH, RFU, WR Reg 22 and IAAF requirements. Our headquarters are in Wooburn Green, near High Wycombe; making us ideally situated to all major transport networks and giving us a prime position to serve clients nationwide. Expert knowledge lies at the heart of our business, ensuring we can provide clients with a keen understanding of their needs and deliver tailor-made solutions. This dedicated approach has widened our industry standing to include developers, consultant engineers, architects and quantity surveyors to our existing client base. Spadeoaks annual turnover now exceeds £35million.
