Space Industries Limited Information

The business was originally founded in 1986 in Bournemouth by Richard Wheeler who owned and ran the business until his untimely and tragic death in a light aircraft accident in April 2010. The business was incorporated as Space Industries Limited in 1991 and since 2010 has been owned and run by Kevin Andrews and Carl McCrudden. In December 2021 the business was relocated to new offices in Bournemouth, which allowed the business to utilise hybrid working practices and expand its already extensive customer base. Space Industries have a broad range of in-house skills and services and deliver these through the five business sectors: Space Construction, Space Planning, Space Interiors, Space Mezzanines and Space Cleanrooms. Space Industries works in the Industrial, Commercial and Education sectors as well as Residential. Works offered can range from a commercial 'tin shed' factory unit to the design and installation of mezzanine floors with associated offices and/or cleanrooms as well as an extension or refurbishment of a residential property. Space Industries is privileged to work with many blue-chip companies that are leaders in their fields such as Sunseeker, RNLI and Medisave. Through Space Planning all projects can be conceived, drawn in both 2D and 3D, Planning Applications and Building Regulation Application can be prepared using our in-house designers and technicians. Planning Applications are often supported with both CAD drawings and a bespoke process of Photo Volumorphic Enhancement, which has been accepted by a number of Planning Departments around the UK.
