SP3H is a deep-tech company pioneering embedded near-infrared (NIR) sensing technologies for real-time fluid characterization in mobility and industrial applications. SP3H was the first to develop a miniaturized, robust NIR sensor (FluidBOX) designed for harsh environments, enabling in-line, real-time monitoring of fluid quality across transportation markets and process industries (automotive, trucks & Buses, NRMM, refining, chemicals and more). Originally developed for high-volume automotive applications, SP3H solutions enable the digitalization of fluid composition and variability, transforming it into actionable data for decision-making, closed-loop control, and industrial optimization—both locally and through cloud-based data platforms. Today, SP3H is at the forefront of the energy transition, expanding its technology toward renewable fuels, e-fuels, Carbon Neutral Fuels (CNF), and Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF). The company enables real-time, onboard measurement and traceability of fuel composition, allowing stakeholders to: monitor fuel quality dynamically, certify the actual use of low-carbon fuels, and quantify real-world CO₂ emissions reduction. This capability is critical to address one of the key challenges of the transition: decarbonizing existing fleets at scale, while ensuring compliance with emerging regulatory frameworks (e.g. RED, CSRD, CAFE).
