SoVenture Information

SoVenture is the advisory practice of Tonia Dabwe, a Dutch-Liberian independent consultant specialising in governance and financial sustainability, with over 20 years of experience across the public, private and development sectors. SoVenture works with multilateral organisations, consulting firms and implementing partners to strengthen the networks, nonprofits and SMEs they support. That can mean stronger governance and clearer strategy for a regional network, a credible path to financial independence for a nonprofit, or better access to finance for an SME. 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 - Strategic plan, governance framework and action plan for the ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Network (11 countries), for ITC - Design and delivery of capacity building in the Access to Financing Challenge, IDB's flagship programme for women entrepreneurs from 22 countries - Strategic positioning and exploration of revenue-generating services for a Nigerian sector association, for ITC - Strategic advice and coaching for scaling an education programme in Madagascar, for Projet Jeune Leader/Spring Impact - Training and coaching of innovation hubs in Sierra Leone to develop and test paid services and reduce donor dependency, for ITC - Set-up lead and interim manager of a joint venture of three Dutch care organisations Assignments are remote or in person.
