Southerden's is a Leading Floral Design Studio located in Toowoomba with over forty years of service and commitment to our Customers and the florist Industry. Started by Alwyn and Margaret Southerden over 40 years ago on their flower farm on the corner of Hume and Stenner Street Toowoomba. With growth and expansion they moved their retail outlet into the city centre. With their niece Lyn Palmer joining the team and partnership, a winning combination was formed. With Aunty Margaret's retirement in the early ninety's Lyn formed a partnership with her husband Philip in 1994 and with their strengths and commitment have built one of Toowoomba's most successful florist shops. Over the years Southerden's has trained, inspired and nurtured some of Australia's top floral designers. with Lyn's natural abilities, some of Toowoomba's finest florists have spent their time under Lyn's wings to further their advancement in their floral careers. Among some of her achievements Lyn has won many Floral competitions both local and state, taught at TAFE and has also been Education Convenor for Interflora Australia. As a Floral Designer her natural ability is unequalled and as a Teacher her nurturing nature has inspired others to follow and grow their abilities as floral designers in the florist industry.
