South Devon Rural Housing Association is a registered provider of social housing part of Places for People Group. Established in 1958 as Dartington Housing Association to provide estate housing for workers from the Dartington estate, SDR has evolved over the last 66 years into a strong, community-based organisation. We own and manage 357 social housing properties across Devon and Cornwall. We have sound working links with local communities and an enviable reputation in South Devon for the quality of our housing and care services. We see ourselves very much at the heart of our communities, offering a uniquely personal and caring service to our residents.
