South Coast Horizons Information

South Coast Horizons is a non-profit organization serving people with significant intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our clients are men and women who live on a daily basis with multiple complications from severe and profound medical conditions. These include conditions such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Hearing Impairment or Vision Impairment, Tourette's Syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injury and other debilitating medical conditions. We serve people who live in our residential group homes in Coos Bay and North Bend. We operate a Day Activity Program that our residents attend, as well as, people who live with their families or in foster homes in Coos Bay, North Bend, Coquille, Myrtle Point, Powers, Charleston and parts of Douglas County. We transport people to and from their homes to our Day Activity Center. There are vans that are equipped with wheelchair lifts that must be used to transport clients who are in wheelchairs.
