The mission of the South Bohemian Agency for Support to Innovative Enterprising is to create conditions for the development of research, development and innovative business in the region leading to a further rise in its prosperity. The Agency provides the public with the following beneficial services: * Research and development in the area of management support of innovations of a regional character. * Research and development in the area of transition to a regional, skill-based economy, with emphasis on specific regional features. * Cooperation in the creation, realisation and coordination of the innovation policy. * Organisation of specialised courses, training and other education events including lecturing activities in the field of research and innovation policy, research management and economics, development and support of regional innovations. * Training of managers and other employees from the academic and business sphere in the areas of research and development, respectively in the area of using the results of research and development through the protection of intellectual ownership and transfer of technologies. * Consulting activities in research and development policies, research and development economics and management of a regional character. * Information services including publication activities in the area of research and development policies, research and development economics and management of a regional character. * Administration of database for the creation and evaluation of research and innovation policies, research and development economics and administration of a regional character
