The South Beach Symposium, founded in 2002, is an annual 4-day conference that delivers clinical education surrounding the newest therapies, technologies, and practice guidelines for physicians and practitioners in the fields of dermatology and aesthetic medicine. The Symposium provides multiple educational tracks, all of which allow medical professionals from both clinical and aesthetic dermatology to participate in focused education through the tracks of their choosing. The conference provides not only interactive & didactic presentations, but also live patient demonstrations with injectables and fillers. Sessions also include live demonstrations of currently utilized devices in aesthetics, which offers attendees real-time clinical education and insight into the newest techniques and procedures. The South Beach Symposium is produced by Tarsus®. The acquisition of SBS in November 2014 expanded the Tarsus medical division, Tarsus Medical Group, to include live and online offerings in medical education—specifically focused on dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Tarsus Medical Group provides a comprehensive collection of global events, supplying live and online medical education for interdisciplinary healthcare practitioners and professionals. All entities are geared at providing clinical education focused on disease prevention and management, in the rapidly evolving landscape of health.
