We feature the entire Bose Professional Systems line of loudspeakers amplifiers and processors. Our story begins in 1985 as a pro audio division. Through a 28-year history we have complemented an array of products and services to include microphone systems by Shure, mixers by Mackie and QSC, and accessories by Koenig and Myer. Building on our strong foundation of professional audio systems we also offer comprehensive Video solutions by Epson, Christie, NEC, Sharp, and Samsung. Rounding out our lineup are the backbone components that make everything reliable and secure. Cabinets and electronics by Hammond, mounting systems by Chief and Gator cases fulfill that need. Telecommunication services represented by LG-Ericsson iPECS hybrid telephone systems. Our product expertise spans Nortel, Comdial, Panasonic, Samsung, and Avaya. We cater to most commercial markets with special emphasis on houses of worship and educational institutions. Our clients span southern Ontario. We service everything we sell with highly experienced electronic engineers. Soundco began as a love and passion for all things audio by our founder John Schweitzer. John knew early on that working with electronics was his passion. John began his career straight out of Radio College more than 4 decades ago. He was invited to join Peffer Sound in 1968 working under the watchful eye of Lorne Peffer. John honed his skills to eventually become the lead service manager at Musitron Danning. John's love of audio convinced him to "retire" from Musitron as they delved into Telecommunications. He kept his love of audio and electronics alive by embarking out on his own to develop Soundco System Sales and Service. John's relentless pursuit of perfection coupled with that ever enduring brighter than the sun smile crafted Soundco Systems to become the longest running Canadian dealer of Bose Professional Systems. John continues to be an insightful mentor and our repair guru at Soundco in between cruises, holidays and visit's to the cottage on Hope Bay. On the 25th anniversary of Soundco, corresponding with John's 65th birthday Jerry assumed directorship. With nearly 20 years in the communication industry Jerry brought a new willingness to stretch the boundaries of Soundco and dive into multimedia. Jerry's background in telecom and computers lends itself handsomely to the audio world. With more systems operating through network and most systems configurable through software Jerry's expertise is launching Soundco into new exciting directions. Jerry holds an honours bachelor degree from the University of Waterloo. He balances a hectic work schedule with his enthusiasm for all sports and time spent at the cottage with his family. Home
