Most platforms can encrypt a message, but they can’t tell you who is really on the other side. That gap, identity uncertainty, is where impersonation and invoice fraud happen: a legitimate-looking invoice arrives with altered banking details, and there’s no way to prove the sender is who they claim to be. SOTRU closes that gap. We combine encrypted communication with verifiable business credentials, so identity is embedded directly into the channels where business happens. Companies, directors, and bank accounts are validated at source, then issued as reusable, cryptographically signed credentials. The supplier you verified is provably the same one issuing today’s invoice, and banking details can be confirmed before funds move. Formerly known as VERA, SOTRU is now publicly available.
