Partnering with hospitals to build a business case for sustainability… SOS Partners aligns with hospitals and health care systems to fully incorporate sustainability into their existing strategies and cultures. Many hospitals fail to address the “Greening of Healthcare” as a business imperative or realize the potential fiscal leverage of developing a strategic approach to sustainability. We approach sustainability as the strategic elimination of waste. “Greening of the Hospital” will initially minimize physical, and energy waste. Ultimately, however, we seek to help eliminate the waste of time, process, and human capital. This is most effectively achieved when the science of sustainability, the disciplines of hospital management and the principles of LEAN process improvement are aligned.
