SORS provides a pricing platform for freight carriers, delivered as a SaaS API. We help LTL carriers bring contract-level pricing discipline to their spot business. Spot quoting moves at a pace that exceeds human review capacity. Pricing analysts make strong shipment-level decisions on major accounts, but the majority of spot volume runs on tariffs and broad discount rules. Margin and opportunity often go unrecognized in that volume. SORS was founded on the premise that spot pricing could operate with the same discipline applied to contract accounts. Hold price where it converts. Adjust selectively where it improves profitability. Decline freight that does not fit the network. Our product, SORS IQ, integrates with existing quoting workflows. For each quote, SORS IQ returns a price based on two components: cost to serve and customer willingness to pay. The first reflects shipment characteristics. The second reflects how similar customers have responded to similar prices in the past. The platform uses machine learning to estimate win probability at different price points. Models are trained on quote outcomes and improve continuously. Carriers retain full control over pricing strategy, including margin floors, adjustment limits, and volume targets. The tradeoff between volume and margin is represented through what we call the profit frontier. Carriers select their position on the curve, and SORS IQ optimizes toward that goal across the spot book. SORS charges per shipment won. Carriers pay only when they win the load, aligning incentives between SORS and its customers. SORS is headquartered in the United States.
