Soo Singapore Jerky Ltd. was founded in Vancouver, Canada in the year 1985, by a young entrepreneuring couple with one ambition - to bring the great flavour of South-East Asian jerky to North America. We made our first major debut at "Expo '86" hosted at beautiful Vancouver, BC, Canada. Our jerky was first available at the time in Vancouver's thriving Chinatown, and the young couple took on all aspects of the business - cooking and drying the meat, packaging the product, making sales, delivering product, checking and stocking shelves - all the while raising a young family with their two boys.
